Maggie was born and raised in Rock Island, IL and moved away for college, she returned to the Quad Cities to pursue her graduate degree. Maggie received her undergraduate degree from the Valparaiso University and received her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from St. Ambrose University. Outside of work Maggie enjoys traveling & outdoor activities.
Why did you become a Physical Therapist?:
I have wanted to work in the medical field for as long as I can remember. As I started to explore career options I learned that if I wanted to spend time with patients and get to know the person, physical therapy would be the best choice. Patients are people affected by diagnosis, not defined by them, and I wanted a career that would allow me to know them as an individual. Deciding to be a physical therapist was the easiest decision I have ever made.
